Art students from Redwater Junior High and High School collaborated to bring to life a vivid world of mythological and magical creatures, blending imagination with cultural storytelling.
Students in grades 7-12 each painted an art panel that showcases a unique vision from majestic dragons to powerful goddesses. They researched diverse legends from around the world, incorporating creatures such as phoenixes, mermaids, dragons, and forest spirits, using bold, layered colors and dynamic compositions to express movement and magic.
The collaborative mural celebrates creativity, collaboration, and represents all skill levels of our student artists.
Artwork will be on display from mid February through early April at the Regional Arts Center located at 321 W 4th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501.
Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, Inc. provides paint and panels to schools and community organizations that wish to participate in painting their own ArtWall theme. We are grateful for their support of our district's art programs.
