Use the grid to transfer and enlarge the image. You must go square to square, and everything must be in the correct box. This is a right or wrong, you will need to fix and redo correctly before moving forward.

Sketchbook Requirements:

The purpose of a sketchbook is to strengthen your drawing skills, encourage you to look harder at things, use your imagination, explore techniques that interest you, and challenge you. In addition to the sketchbook assignment, you are encouraged to fill this space with your own work and drawings of your choice.  Use your sketchbook as a place to let out your ideas and thoughts.
You are to choose 1 of the 2 choices for each due date. Each sketchbook assignment should take at least 30 to 60 minutes and must be done on your own time outside of class. 
Drawing must fill the entire page! (either Draw LARGE, or add details and environment)
Drawing must show great ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Time spent working should be seen in every sketchbook assignment.

Draw NEEDS to be Large and filling the space, (25pt) and Neatness (10pt).
If you are working portrait format You will draw One Large Owl.
If you are working in Landscape format you will draw 3 or 5.

Blending color using the color wheel as a guide (30pt)

This Is NOT a race. It will be graded according to the rubric. You have 5 class period to complete the artwork for a for grade.

Sketchbook Requirements:

The purpose of a sketchbook is to strengthen your drawing skills, encourage you to look harder at things, use your imagination, explore techniques that interest you, and challenge you. In addition to the sketchbook assignment, you are encouraged to fill this space with your own work and drawings of your choice.  Use your sketchbook as a place to let out your ideas and thoughts.
You are to choose 1 of the 2 choices for each due date. Each sketchbook assignment should take at least 30 to 60 minutes and must be done on your own time outside of class. 
Drawing must fill the entire page! (either Draw LARGE, or add details and environment)
Drawing must show great ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Time spent working should be seen in every sketchbook assignment.
Do’s:

Give yourself breaks. (you don’t have to draw all at once)
Use color, patterns, and values/shading
Don’t’s:

 Pile up your shoes and create a still life. Draw from still  life. You must also take a photo of the stilllife and upload it with the assignment.

Color Plan/Plano de colores

Each of your artworks will have a color plan. The color plan must be written on the back of your artwork. 
a Color plan is based off the off the instructions for each assignment. You will choose a color scheme and explain where you are using it in the artwork.
Example : on you OWL artwork you have a foreground and a background. 
Foreground(owl, and perch)- Warm Colors: red, orange, and yellow
Background (left over space behind/around the owl)-Cool Colors: blue, green, and purple.
The color plan is a daily grade, and helps you to show me you understand colors and color scheme. Your color plan gives you the freedom of choosing what goes where in an organized way. you show your understanding by follow the color plan.

You Then will upload the 3 drafts into google classroom to turn in. you MUST have 3 rough drafts, and Must be uploaded.
